As a welder, you’ll learn how to use a variety of manual and computerized equipment. You’ll work alongside other tradespeople and can take specialized courses to become a true expert in a specific sector, such as custom fabrication, pressure vessel welding, or shipbuilding and repair.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll be paired with a Red Seal certified Welder who has diverse working experience in shop fabrication, heavy construction, and maintenance and repair. They’ll help you analyze job tasks, determine the materials required, and use your knowledge to complete the job.
