WHAT YOU DO
When you think of painters, famous artists like Michelangelo and Monet probably come to mind first. Tradespeople are the unsung heroes working quietly behind the scenes. They colour our world and set the tone for our daily lives, turning drab concrete structures into iconic landmarks, brightening ageing buildings and transforming boring white walls into works of art.
As a Painter and Decorator, paintbrushes and rollers are your tools, but your canvases come in all shapes and sizes. One day, you might find yourself high up on a scaffold painting the beams of a bridge; the next, you could be measuring wallpaper for a luxury hotel suite. Regardless of the project, you have a good sense of colour, an eye for detail and a taste for heights.
