As a Meatcutter, you are on your feet working behind the scenes in a refrigerated room preparing cuts of meat for display, or behind a retail counter sharing your expert knowledge and filling orders. Not only can you cook a killer steak and rattle off the differences between a rib-eye, tenderloin and T bone, but you know how to create each cut perfectly.

It’s one of the oldest and probably least known trades, but Meatcutters are highly skilled and valued tradespeople. You will be paired with an experienced Meatcutter who can help you learn how to safely handle the tools of the trade and break down carcasses and cut meat to specification.
