WHAT YOU DO
When you hear the word Carpenter, you probably think tables and chairs rather than skyscrapers and bridges. But nearly every building and structure you see—the hospital you were born in, the home you live in, the school you study at, the arena you play in, the movie theatre you’re heading to tonight—wouldn’t exist without a Carpenter.
As a Carpenter, you get to construct, renovate and repair structures made of wood, steel, concrete and other materials. You work as part of a team of trade professionals right on the job site, getting your hands dirty and watching your project come to life bit by bit every day.
